Placement Pathways ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Placement Pathways Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17362061), with its registered office at Upper Flat, 60 Ridgeway Road, Redhill, England, RH1 6PH. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Placement Pathways website and services (the "Platform"). By creating an account, browsing job listings, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Placement Pathways is a job board and connections platform that helps UK university students find international work placement opportunities, and helps recruiters and employers advertise those opportunities to students. We act as an intermediary only. We do not employ candidates, guarantee any job offer, visa, work permit, or placement outcome, and we are not a party to any contract of employment or placement between a candidate and a recruiter or employer.

The Platform is intended for UK university students and graduates seeking international work placements, and for recruiters and employers seeking to advertise such opportunities. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are created and managed via our membership provider, Memberstack. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

We offer both free and paid subscription plans for recruiters. Paid plans are billed via our payment processor, Stripe, on the basis described at the point of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. We may change our pricing from time to time; continued use of a paid plan after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing, subject to reasonable notice.

You agree not to: post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profile information; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; harass, discriminate against, or misrepresent yourself to other users; attempt to bypass, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Platform; or scrape or harvest data from the Platform without our written consent.

The Platform relies on third-party services to operate, including Memberstack (accounts and membership), Stripe (payments), Airtable (data storage), Wized (site functionality), Make.com (workflow automation), and TalkJS (in-platform messaging). Your use of these features is also subject to the relevant provider's own terms. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by these third-party providers.

All content on the Platform, including our logo, design, and text (excluding content you submit), is owned by or licensed to Placement Pathways Ltd. You retain ownership of the content you submit, such as your profile or job listings, but you grant us a licence to display and use that content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

The Platform is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that any listing, message, or connection made through the Platform will result in a successful placement, job offer, or visa outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Placement Pathways Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
